Every one has heard "Drinking juice is good for
you". We all know that Juice = Healthy but have any of us every looked at
the ingredients listed on the bottle of Juice we have been drinking? The last
time I looked at the listed ingredients there were words I could not even say
much less try to spell. I like to think of my self as a pretty smart guy but It
took a serious health issue in my life to get me to start really looking at
ingredient lists.
Once I started looking into things I discovered raw fruits and
vegetables are better for you than cooked fruits and vegetables. Uncooked
fruits and vegetables give you much more of the nutrition your body needs to be
healthy. Unfortunately even the best most healthy commercial juices must be
treated in some way to keep them fresher longer. Commercial juices simply have
to be transported and stored so long that it is impossible for them to stay
fresh and tasty without treatment.
Fresh juice that you make in your own kitchen is simply much
better for you than anything you can buy in any store. Juicing allows you to
control the exact ingredients and amount of any particular ingredient. Once you
begin producing your own fresh homemade juice you will never want to go back to
store bought again. Once you begin making your own homemade juice the variety
of flavors and recipes you have available will surprise and please you to no
end.
The equipment needed is not very complex or expensive. A
good juicer can be relatively inexpensive and you can find them in many
department stores juicing
vs blending. As with anything you do it is always a good idea to do some
research before you begin. Taking a little time to find out the "tricks of
the trade" can save you quite a bit of frustration and expense in the
future. Something like picking the right juicer can have a huge effect on the
ease of juicing in the future.
